Sunshine soaked summer days deserve to be spent in clothes which are comfy and casual. What could be better than a bright floral sundress, or a crisp white cotton sundress. Whether your budget demands that you buy cheap sundresses or if you'd rather splurge on brand name sundresses, this post should have something for everyone.
Sundresses are an essential part of the preppy look which became popular in the 50s; Lilly Pullitzer 's bright colourful prints and styles were favoured by the like of Kennedy's and Vanderbilts, so there was a no way I could do a post about sundresses without showcasing some of her recent pieces.

I am no longer interested in who wins at the numerous music award shows that take place. My main interest is what did they wear? If you are like me and you don't want to spend hours watching award shows but you like to feast your eyes on the latest trends in gowns and hairstyles well, sit back and relax and enjoy your fashion fix.
I recognised very few people from the pictures a sure sign that I'm getting old, sigh and I like very few of the outfits.
But I think Katy Perry is getting better at dressing up for the red carpet she looks elegant in this lavender Blumarine gown and had her trademark hair dyed a purplish hue.
Taylor Swift showed up with straight hair smoky eyes and a red Elie Saab gown, as you know I think she rarely misses the mark, in my opinion anyway. I'm also a big fan of Elie Saab's designs.

I have to add Miley Cyrus because she only wore a Jean Paul Gaultier blazer, conveniently forgetting to wear anything nothing underneath. The rate she is going the girl is going to be in rehab before she's 25. I wonder why ex-Disney child stars always go berserk when they get older?
DustSpring is in the air, and what better way to welcome the season than with shopping for a new dress. Cotton crochet dresses or on my list of must haves this spring. There's something so sweet and feminine about crochet items, and if accesorised with with a few edgy pieces you can acheive the perfect mix of cool and cute to get that bohemian chic vibe:-).

Justin Bieber has taken the world by a storm for quite a while now, and as I seem to face writer's block everytime I sit down to blog, I thought why not? Plus this will serve as a useful experiment for me, I will be able to see whether blogging about something which has high search ratings according to Google trends actually translates into more visits, followers and the highly sought after meaningful comments instead of spam.

Well, unless you have been living in a cave for the past few years you already know that Justin Drew Bieber is a Canadian pop/R&B singer, songwriter and actor. Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun who came across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager. Bieber's debut single, "One Time",
was released in 2009 and peaked in the top ten in Canada and charted in
the top thirty in several international markets.
His debut album, My World, followed in November 2009, and was later certified platinum in the United States. He became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Besides from his music Justin Bieber is famous for his haircut, and his cult following among tween and teens. In my opinion, he looks and sounds younger than his 17 years, but I guess it works for his tween following. Apparently Just Bieber's and Emma Watson's new haircuts were the most influential hairstyles of 2011.
Justin Bieber batmobile or his black Ferrari is also a part of his trademark style. At a glance you'd be forgiven for thinking some kid's taken some else's car for a ride :-)

newspaper in the UK published a report indicating that Justin Bieber is
more influential in the social networking sphere than Barack Obama or The Dalai Lama! According to Jan Hoffman of The New York Times, part of Bieber's appeal stems from his YouTube channel. His duet with Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas is You (above) although was a remake of what I thought was pretty good song, although Mariah's antics in it are bit off-putting especially since she's probably his mom's age. What do you think?
Justin puts the J in the super-cute pop couple Jelena with Selena Gomez, who is two years older than him. Does Justin have a thing for older women? I'm sure his fans hope otherwise.

I personally think that Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber wouldalso make a really adorable couple although Taylor is five year's older than him...but cougars are cool in 2012 or so Hollywood would like us to believe. What do you think?
I confess readers I have a bit of girl-crush on Taylor Swift. She looks like such girly girl. I absolutely love her hair, adore it, and I wish I could tame my very stubborn-mind of its own hair, into the beautiful hairstyles that Taylor has been sporting lately.I don't listen to her music, but I'm happy to see her at awards and places so that I can see which hairstyle she's sporting today.
Taylor Swift has naturally curly and I think blonde hair, and I think it suits her to a tee as country singer, don't you?
Her side swooped bangs are pretty much a part of her signature style as her curly locks.
Taylor looks just as stunning accessorizing with a delicate headband and her perfect sunshine curls gathered to one side and tumbling over one shoulder.
The faux bob has a 1920s look to it, accompanied by the bright lipstick.

Don't you just love how her bangs are curled and incorporatedinto the rest of the hairstyle, how would some one who's all thumbs and lacks proper hand eye coordination ever recreate this...well, I can dream.
