I wasn't able to attend the press conference where the Samsung Galaxy Note Ii was launched but here are the highlights, courtesy of the press release:
Samsung, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, a global
leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, finally took the wraps off the sequel to its popular Galaxy Note and announced the launch of its much-awaited GALAXY
Note II in Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made through a press
conference organized in presence of Mr. JaeCheon Park General Manger Samsung
Electronics in KSA along with other Samsung executives and regional media.
Specs:
The Galaxy Note II powered by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating
system boasts a 5.5-inch (14.09 cm) HD Super AMOLED screen, and comes with a
stylus called the S Pen
Featuring an intuitive user experience and armed with a 1.6GHz quad-core processor
and 2GB RAM for enhanced performance,
Galaxy Note II is designed to simplify
idea capture, information access, and multi-tasking, making each easier and
faster. It allows users to organize work, tasks, express their ideas
naturally and efficiently.
The note II is
targeted to the mass, since it incorporates intuitive features and capabilities
such as:
- Side-by-side multitasking screen with a 5.5 inch large screen.
- Users can view Web pages or videos, or launch other applications while writing or sketching ideas with the S Pen on the other half of the screen.
- Users can freely capture and crop images, and paste them onto the other screen to make personal notes and enhance their creativity, productivity and learning abilities.
- The Multiscreen feature increases productivity and efficiency while users are enjoying multimedia content.
Mr. Hatem Alsaei finally
